Each day we publish one question and gather one-word answers from anonymous visitors. The resulting cloud is not a poll, not a survey, not a scientific instrument, and not a curated editorial product. It is a casual snapshot of what people typed in a small window of time. Treat it as a cultural artefact, not as data.

We do our best to filter profanity, slurs, sexual content involving minors, political agitation, and harassment through a combination of word lists and automated moderation. Some inappropriate content may still appear briefly before it is removed. The presence of any word on this site is not an endorsement of that word, its meaning, or any sentiment it may carry.

The questions we ask are sometimes tender — about memory, loss, love, fear, hope. Some words people submit may be heavy. If a particular question or word makes you uncomfortable, please close the tab and step away. There is no obligation to answer and no record of you not answering.

Most of our daily questions are generated by a large language model and then filtered through automated and editorial checks. AI-generated text can occasionally be awkward, ambiguous, or culturally tone-deaf despite our best efforts. We do not warrant that any question is perfect, original, or universally appropriate. If a question reads poorly, the next one arrives in 24 hours.

We do not select, review, or endorse specific ads — they are placed automatically by Google’s system based on Google’s own rules. Clicking an ad takes you to a third-party site we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, or privacy practices of advertisers or any other linked sites.

We make no warranty that the site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or accurate at any given moment. Counts in the word cloud, country statistics, online indicators, and timestamps are best-effort and may lag, drift, or differ from one viewer to another. Treat all numbers as approximate.
